Terms of Service

The deal between you and MonkeyCam: who can use it, how matching and coins work, what moderation can do, and where the limits of the service are.

Meet someone random →

The deal in plain words

MonkeyCam gives you random 1v1 video chat in your browser — free to start, with coins available for longer sessions and extras. You get a working service, honest pricing, and moderation that reviews reports. We get your agreement to the rules below. Using the site means you accept these terms; if you do not, the right move is not to use it.

Who can use MonkeyCam

MonkeyCam is adults-only. You must have reached the age of majority where you live, and you confirm that every time you use the service. Accounts and sessions found to involve minors are removed and, where the law requires, reported. There is no gray area on this one — it is the first rule because it is the most important one.

How the service works

Matching is random and one stranger at a time — we do not promise a particular person, a particular outcome, or that every match will be pleasant. Skip, block, and report are part of the service, and using them carries no penalty. Features can change as the product evolves; the core loop — random video chat, one tap, one person — stays.

Coins and payments

The free start covers matching, your first chats, and text chat. Coins are a one-time purchase for longer sessions and extras — no subscription, no auto-renewal. Prices are shown before you confirm, payments run through third-party processors, and coin balances are tied to the account or session they were bought on. Coins are a virtual item for use inside MonkeyCam; they are not money, not transferable, and not refundable once spent, except where the law says otherwise.

Your behavior

The community guidelines are part of these terms, not a separate suggestion box. The short version: no minors, no recording strangers, no harassment, nothing illegal, no money requests, no spam. Break them and the enforcement ladder applies — warning, suspension, or permanent removal from the matching pool, depending on severity and history. Serious violations skip the ladder entirely.

What we are not liable for

Strangers are strangers. We run the matching, the safety tools, and the moderation — we do not control what another person says or does in a chat, and we are not responsible for user behavior, for matches you did not enjoy, or for what you choose to share with someone. The service is provided as is; we work to keep it fast and available, but uninterrupted operation is a goal, not a guarantee.

Your content and ours

What you say and show in a chat is yours — but remember the other side of the camera can keep what you share, so share accordingly. The MonkeyCam name, logo, design, and site content are ours; you are welcome to use the service, not to copy it or present yourself as affiliated with it.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, the updated version replaces this page, and continuing to use MonkeyCam afterward means you accept it. Questions about the terms, your account, coins, or an enforcement decision go through the contact form or to [email protected] — include the details, and the MonkeyCam team will look at it.
